About Me
My background
I'm a Spokane native who has left the area a few times for education or work opportunities, but has always returned to my hometown. I graduated from Northwest Christian High School with the class of '99. I then graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I had the opportunity to complete internships at Intel and Boeing during my time in the Seattle area, but returned to the Spokane area after graduation. My first professional positions in the engineering field here in Spokane were with the companies of Spraycool and Telect before moving to Keytronic as the Executive Vice President of Quality and Information Systems.
My wife and I met when I returned to Spokane after completing my studies at the University of Washington. We have been married for 18 years and have four children. Our family has been lucky enough to be built both by biological connection and through the gift of adoption.
